Booking information / General terms and conditions
Booking
- online bookings are subject to a standard cooling-off period of two working days.
- in this period you can cancel the booking free of charge.
- the right to a reflection period expires when the down payment has been made.
- on the third day after booking, the booking is automatically finalised.
- after receiving the down payment (also within the reflection period) your booking is final.
- when booking on Friday, the reflection period lasts until Monday. When booking on the weekend, the reflection period lasts until Tuesday.
- for bookings within 4 weeks before departure there is no reflection period and your booking is final immediately.
Booking confirmation
- after booking, you will receive a booking confirmation/invoice by e-mail.
Payments
Bookings before 1 February:
- the down payment is 30% of the rent, to be paid no later than 8 days after receipt of the booking confirmation.
- a second payment of 30% of the rent no later than 25 weeks before the start of your stay.
- a third payment of 40% of the rent no later than 8 weeks before the start of your stay.
- after receipt of your payment, you will receive a payment confirmation by e-mail.
For the second and third payment you will receive a reminder.
Bookings from 1 February:
- the deposit is 50% of the rent to be paid no later than 8 days after receipt of the booking confirmation.
- the second 50% of the rent is to be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of your stay.
Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive a payment confirmation by e-mail.
For the second payment you will receive a reminder.
When booking within 4 weeks before departure:
- payment of the total amount in one time. After receipt of your down payment you will receive a payment confirmation by email.
If the payment is not made in time, Luxury Tents Catalunya has the right to cancel the reservation. All costs will be for your account.
Mandatory additional costs
- booking fee € 12,50 per booking.
- cleaning costs Luxury Tent: € 50 (to be paid in cash on arrival to the manager of Luxury Tents Catalunya).
- a security deposit of € 150 is required (payable in cash to the manager of Luxury Tents Catalunya).
This deposit will be refunded to your account on departure, provided that no damage or loss has occurred to or in the
Tent during your stay and you have left the Luxury Tent clean and tidy. - tourist and/or environmental tax must be paid directly to the campsite reception upon arrival.
(In 2021 this amounts to € 0.90 per person per day with a maximum of 7 nights for persons aged 16 years and older). - for a 6th person there is a surcharge of € 10 per person per night.
Arrival and departure
On the day of arrival you can check in from 4 p.m. onwards and on the day of departure you have to check out before 10 a.m.
One day before your arrival, one of our employees will contact you by phone about your expected time of arrival.
Cleaning
On departure the Luxury Tent should be left broom clean, the waste bin emptied and the rubbish disposed of.
No dirty dishes should be left behind. After your departure the tent will be cleaned by the manager of Luxury Tents Catalunya.
Maximum number of persons per tent
The Luxury Tent is for a maximum of 5 persons, a 6th person is allowed for a fee of € 10,- per night and for the 6th person you have to bring your own airbed. The Luxury Tent has a standard parking space. If you want an extra parking space, please inform in advance the administrators of Luxury Tents Catalunya. If you want an extra parking space, you have to inform the administrators of Luxury Tents Catalunya in advance.
Preference pitches and special requests
- if you have a preference for a place, we recommend you to tell us when you book.
As we work on the basis of consecutive bookings, we cannot give any guarantees but we will do our best. - if you have any special wishes, please let us know when booking, we will be happy to think things through with you.
Additional services
- you can rent a set of bed linen from us. This set consists of: pillowcase, duvet cover and mattress cover (€ 15,- p.p. per set).
- you can also rent a towel set from us. This consists of: 1 bath towel and 2 hand towels (€ 10,- p.p. per set)
- you can exchange your bed linen and/or towel set for a clean one (€ 15,- p.p. per bed linen set and € 10,- p.p. per towel set).
- it is not permitted to wash bed linen and/or towels yourself. It is also not allowed to take the towels to the beach.
- you can also rent a safe from us for € 10,= per stay.
These extra services should be paid in cash to the manager of Luxury Tents Catalunya upon arrival.
Water cooler
In every Luxury Tent there is a water cooler at your disposal. You can use this for free during your stay.
A water bottle can be bought from the manager of Luxury Tents for only € 15 per bottle (18.9 litres). These water bottles ensure that you always have delicious cold water, saves a lot of space in your fridge and saves you a lot of hassle with large and heavy bottles of water. So you don’t have to carry large and heavy bottles of water around anymore. Please note that the water from the tap in Spain is not drinkable.
Baby kit
- the baby kit is for rent for € 15,- per stay.
- the baby package consists of a foldable camping bed with mattress and a highchair.
bed linen and a blanket are included in the rental price. - a maximum of 2 baby beds per tent are only available on request and cannot always be guaranteed.
The cost of the baby package must be paid in cash to the manager of Luxury Tents Catalunya upon arrival.
Other conditions / liability
- smoking is not allowed in the tent
- no pets allowed
- Luxury Tents Catalunya is not liable for damage and / or injury caused during your stay at the campsite, by whatever cause. This also applies to loss, theft or damage to personal belongings or money.
Travel and/or cancellation insurance
It is not possible to take out insurance with us. We refer you to your bank or insurance company.
